Corpus de rapports des organisations intergouvernementales sur le changement climatique (2007-2021)

Description

The « IGO corpus » contains reports on climate change published between 2007 and 2021 by the various intergovernmental organizations which have been working on that topic, namely the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change), the IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), the UNDP (United Nations Development Program), the UNEP (United Nations Environment Program), the UN (United Nations), the UNCDF (United Nations Capital Development Fund), the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the World Bank (WB) and the UN-REDD (United Nations Collaborative Programme on Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation in Developing Countries). These institutions were selected on the basis of their publishing at least one report on climate change during the period. In fact, all reports published by UN institutions around that time were included in the corpus. The reports were downloaded from the official websites of the various institutions and are authentic and complete, in spite of their lacking tables, references and figures, which have been removed for the sake of computerized analysis of the corpus. The UN corpus contains 1 217 351 words and 48 reports.

Le « corpus OIG » contient des rapports sur le sujet du changement climatique et publiés entre 2007 et 2021 par les principales organisations intergouvernementales ayant travaillé sur cette thématique, en l'occurrence la CCNUCC (Convention-cadre des Nations unies sur les changements climatiques), le GIEC (Groupe d’experts intergouvernemental sur l’évolution du climat), le PNUD (Programme des Nations unies pour le développement), le PNUE (Programme des Nations unies pour l’environnement), l'ONU (Organisation des Nations unies), le FENU (Fond d’équipement des Nations unies), l'OMM (Organisation météorologique mondiale), la Banque mondiale, et l'ONU-REDD (le Programme des Nations Unies pour la réduction des émissions liées à la déforestation et à la dégradation des forêts dans les pays en développement). Ces institutions ont été choisies parce qu'elles ont toutes publié au moins un rapport sur le changement climatique au cours de la période à l'étude. En fait, tous les rapports publiés par ces organisations sur cette thématique ont été intégrés au corpus. Les rapports sont authentiques et complets : seuls ont été supprimés les schémas, références, images, et tableaux, afin de permettre l'analyse numérique du corpus par des logiciels de traitement automatique.
