Description

Ce dossier contient des fichiers textes représentant chacun un glossaire spécialisé, dédié au changement climatique, ainsi qu'un tableur Excel correspondant aux métadonnées de chaque glossaire (titre du glossaire, identifiant, nom de l'organisation émetrice). Les glossaires ont été produits entre 1992 et 2021 par trois institutions onusiennes, à savoir le GIEC (en anglais : IPCC), l'Union internationale pour la conservation de la nature (UICN, en anglais : IUCN) et la Convention-cadre des Nations unies sur les changements climatiques (CCNUCC, en anglais : UNFCC). Le glossaire le plus ancien (1992), est un glossaire d'acronymes. Les fichiers textes ont été nettoyés (suppression des éventuelles figures, images, références et crédits), afin de pouvoir être lus par des logiciels de traitement automatique. Nous incluons également à ce dossier un fichier texte combinant tous les glossaires ("combined-glossaires") et une version de ce fichier annotée avec TreeTagger, rendant compte de la partie du discours à laquelle appartient chaque unité composant le corpus.

Description

This folder contains text files, each representing a specialized glossary dedicated to climate change, as well as an Excel spreadsheet corresponding to the metadata of each glossary (glossary title, identifier, name of the issuing organization). The glossaries were produced between 1992 and 2021 by three UN institutions, namely the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The oldest glossary (1992) is a glossary of acronyms. The text files have been cleaned (removal of any figures, images, references, and credits) to allow processing by automatic text analysis tools. We also include in this folder a text file combining all the glossaries ("combined-glossaries") and a version of this file annotated with TreeTagger, indicating the part of speech of each unit in the corpus.
