Description

The first version of this corpus, under the LETEC standard - corpus for learning -, (Chanier, T. & Audras, I. , 2011) may be downloaded from Mulce websitehttp://repository.mulce.org" with the code oai:mce-tridem06-letec-all. Data come from an on line course which occurred from October to December 2006, over 10 weeks. A unique pedagogical team was built upon the collaboraiton between 3 institutions: Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) , United States of America, The Open University (OU), Unighted Kingdom, and et Université de Franche-Comté (UFC), France. Learners were gathered in small groups, entitled "tridems", with members coming from every 3 institutions. 12 tridems were created.

The initial corpus was then converted to TEI standard in the project CoMeRe (Communication Médiée par les Réseaux). This project aims to build a kernel corpus assembling existing corpora of different CMC (Computer-Mediated Communication) genres and new corpora build on data extracted from the Internet. These heterogenous corpora will be structured and processed in a uniform way, complemented with metadata. CoMeRe will be released as OpenData through the national infrastructure Ortolang, following constraints which will be reused for the forthcoming “Corpus de Référence du Français”. Project supported by the national consortium Corpus-écrits.
